I love web 2.0!!! The best thing about web 2.0 is that you can find the definition of what web 2.0 is on a web 2.0 site! Wikipedia states that “A Web 2.0 site allows users to interact and collaborate with each other in a social media dialogue as consumers of user-generated content in avirtual community, in contrast to websites where users (prosumers) are limited to the active viewing of content that they created and controlled. Examples of Web 2.0 include social networking sites, blogs, wikis, video sharing sites, hosted services, web applications, mashupsand folksonomies.”
So what is the Web Two Point O? It is a website that allows for interactivity. That’s it! If you can do something with the information on the page instead of just read the info, you have found a site worthy of the title of web 2.0! Here are a few of my favorites and what they can do.
